Summer Encampment
Wisconsin Basic School
This is the program that all first-time encampment attendees must attend. During this week-long experience you will learn the basics of being a CAP Cadet, become a member of a team, live CAP’s Core Values, and experience Air Force life. Required for all first-time encampment attendees.
Wisconsin Cadet Development Course
This second-year program is targeted at young/early Phase 2 cadets who are looking to experience the different facets of the Cadet Program while also expanding their leadership skills. Cadets will experience drones, tours, leadership games, and much more. Recommended for: Cadet Airman through Cadet Technical Sergeant. You must have graduated from a first-year encampment to attend this school.
About Wisconsin Cadet Development Course
Wisconsin Cadet Academy
This second-year program is Wisconsin Wing’s premier leadership development school. During this week-long school cadets will be challenged to be leaders, learn servant leadership principles, and be given the opportunity to test their leadership skills. This school is designed to challenge and form future leaders. Recommended for: Cadet Master Sergeant through Cadet Lieutenant Colonel. You must have graduated from a first-year encampment to attend this school.
Minimum qualifications to attend the Wisconsin Cadet Academy:

Be at least 14 years of age

Be a Cadet Technical Sergeant or higher (note: must be a C/MSgt or higher to receive RCLS credit)
